राजस्थान के एंडेमिक प्राणी

एंडेमिक प्राणी वे प्राणी हैं जो एक स्थान विशेष में पाए जाते हैं । राजस्थान भारत का सबसे बड़ा राज्य है। यह राज्य न केवल वनस्पतिक विविधता से समृद्ध है बल्कि विविध प्रकार के प्राणियों से भी समृद्ध है। इस राज्य में विभिन्न प्रकार के आवास, प्रकृति में हैं जो कि जीव-जंतुओं की विविधता एवं स्थानिकता (Endemism) के अस्तित्व को सुनिश्चित करते हैं। साथ ही कई प्रकार के एंडेमिक प्राणी यहाँ मिलते हैं। अपृष्ठवंशी जीवों से लेकर स्तनधारी जीवों तक कई स्थानिक प्रजातियां एवं उप-प्रजातियां राजस्थान की भौगोलिक सीमा के भीतर पायी जाती हैं। जीव-जंतुओं की स्थानिकता की एक अच्छी झलक अली और रिप्ले (1983), घोष एवं साथी (1996), गुप्ता और प्रकाश (1975), प्रकाश (1973) एवं शर्मा (2014,2015) के शोध द्वारा मिलती है।

कई प्रजातियाँ राजस्थान के थार रेगिस्तान, गुजरात और पाकिस्तान  के लिए स्थानिक हैं तो वहीं कई प्रजातियां राजस्थान के अन्य हिस्सों और आसपास के राज्यों के कुछ हिस्सों में स्थानिक हैं। जो प्रजातियां, उप-प्रजातियां एवं किस्में मुख्य रूप से राजस्थान राज्य की भौगोलिक सीमाओं के लिए विशेष रूप से स्थानिक हैं उनको नीचे सारणी में प्रस्तुत किया गया है:

राजस्थान में किसी भी प्रकार की प्रभावी बाधाएं नहीं हैं, इसलिए राज्य में अधिक स्थानिकवाद विकसित नहीं हुआ है। कोई भी प्राणी वंश यहाँ स्थानिक नहीं पाया गया है।पहले कई प्रजातियों को राजस्थान की एंडेमिक प्रजाति माना जाता है लेकिन समान जलवायु एवं आवासीय परिस्थितियों के कारण उनकी उपस्थिति अन्य भारतीय राज्यों एवं पाकिस्तान के कुछ सुदूर हिस्सों में होने की सम्भावना है। हमें राज्य की एंडेमिक प्रजातियों की  स्थिति का मूल्यांकन करने के लिए अधिक सटीक सर्वेक्षण और शोध की आवश्यकता है।

    There is a correction. You have enlisted Rogerus rajasthanensis as a type of Porifera (Sponge), but actually Rogerus is a genus of nematodes (roundworms).
